Born in 1991 in Kiev (Ukraine) to a family of musicians, Marko Topchii began playing guitar with Volodymyr Homenyuk at the age of four, graduated from the Kharkiv Conservatory at the age of 21 with Volodymyr Dotsenko, Meritorious Artist of Ukraine Erdinsky Yekhaki Next to his artist. In 2018, he joined the San Francisco Conservatory’s professional study program in Judicaёl Perroy’s class.
Marko has won more than 100 awards at international classical guitar competitions worldwide in the professional category. Of these, 47 first place.
Marko performed at Carnegie Hall, Yamaha Ginza Hall (Tokyo), Tchaikovsky Hall (Moscow). He often performs with bands, performing more than fifteen guitar and orchestra concerts. He uses the strings provided by D`Addario and plays the guitars of Julian Dammann and Jim Redgate. In 2016, he recorded two CD albums with “Fleur de Son Classics” (Buffalo, NY) and “Contrastes Records” (Seville, Spain). In 2018, he recorded the CD of Michele Pittaluga’s winner with Naxos.
