“Krushevo” is a project of two number one Eastern European guitarists, Vlatko Stefanovski and Miroslav Tadic. It is purely acoustic and the whole program is based on traditional Macedonian folk dances and songs.

Many cultures have influenced the music of Macedonia, which is at the crossroads of Europe and the Middle East. The Romans brought various influences from the East, all the way to India, and the art and music of the Ottoman and Byzantine empires also left strong traces.

Stefanovski and Tadic bring in their own rich and varied musical experiences, mostly flamenco, jazz, blues and rock. This unique blend, coupled with their musicality and virtuosity, has garnered overwhelming audiences in many countries around the world, such as Canada, USA, Germany, Hungary, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia, crossing ethnic and religious boundaries. In March 2009, Stefanovski and Tadic gave a triumphant, packed concert at the Musikverein in Vienna.
